The Blue Hour
The Blue Hour is a years-long series of black & white imagery whose subjects are connected more by mood than place. I have always been drawn to quiet corners and to things seen yet not-quite-seen in the periphery of vision. The Blue Hour, titled after the suspended hour just before dawn, evokes the fleeting time of in-between where stars become flowers, a figure turns to shadow, and a stand of trees might call you toward a secret it’s keeping.
